Sidlesham Memorial Hall comprises a magnificent main hall capable of hosting a party of up to 200 guests. It boasts a superb stage with LED lighting and has an integral bar. There are two smaller halls each ideal for 30-40 guests and also a small conference room. There is a fully equipped kitchen.
The building has a premises licence, which permits sales of alcohol from each of the two bars. Live music and performances are also to be permitted. Wifi is also available.
With “one of the best football pitches on the South Coast” football is a key activity, and we currently have a number of committed football clubs using the facility. There are changing rooms and showers in a separate adjacent building.

Our Facilities
Sidlesham Memorial Hall offers a multi-purpose facility and is located halfway between Chichester and Selsey on the B2145. As well as these two places it is also ideally suited for the residents of Birdham, Hunston and Donnington.
The grounds of the Memorial Hall deserve a special mention. Our chief gardening volunteer has done a wonderful job of planting out and nurturing some stunning shrubs, plants and flowers. We boast a community orchard. Everyone is welcome to wander round and enjoy.
There is an excellent children’s playground on site, next to an adult gym, so that parents can be “working out” whilst supervising their young.
Sidlesham Memorial Recreation Ground boasts a fantastic main football pitch, with adjacent practice or junior pitch.
Changing rooms for men and women are available. As well as being home to regular teams, pitch hire is available for one off and charitable events. See FOOTBALL on main menu for more information.
Other facilities on the site of the Memorial Recreation Ground include a children’s playground, an outdoor gym, a community orchard and garden.
