Sidlesham is a very useful hub, set in the middle of the Manhood Peninsular. It is in easy reach of Selsey, The Witterings, Birdham, Donnington, Hunston . It is only 15 minutes drive from Chichester.
Whether you need at quick one hour meeting for a dozen or a two day conference facility for 120, we can assist.
Our magnificent Main Hall is a perfect setting for exhibitions, craft fairs, bring and buy, Christmas fayres and much else.
We will be pleased to quote inclusive Daily Delegate Rates, to include morning coffee, lunch & afternoon tea.
Screens, projectors and other AV equipment can be arranged on your behalf.
Main Hall
A magnificent hall with stage, ideal for music and drama rehearsals and performances, weddings, parties, dancing, yoga, pilates etc. Has its own integral bar, which can be either used on DIY basis, or with Sidlesham Community Association running it. Will seat 140 for concert & drama productions. Seated weddings for 100.

Villagers Bar
Currently open to all as a “village pub” on Friday nights, with open mic sessions on the last Friday of each month. Ideal for smaller parties of 30-60 persons. Quiz nights will hopefully soon be in place. Unwind in a welcoming ambience, perfect for socializing and relaxation. Book now for a delightful gathering.

SPORTS & HEALTH
Sidlesham Memorial Hall rooms lend themselves readily to many sports and health activities.
We are always happy to discuss with potential partner groups the provision of our rooms for activities such as karate, judo, keep-fit, Pilates, yoga and much more.
Kitchen
With a fully equipped kitchen the main hall can feed up to 150 guests. Many hirers for parties will wish to do their own catering.
This is easily achieved with good access, and plenty of room for preparing sandwiches and buffets. The kitchen is ideally located next to the Main Hall. Clubs and societies may find use of the kitchen to be very cost-effective.
Catering
We are able to put you in contact with local caterers, who can provide anything from buffet to banquet, not forgetting barbecues and hog roasts.
The facility is extremely flexible insomuch as an outdoor party can be planned, with the option of bringing it indoors in case of inclement British weather!
Bar
Sidlesham Memorial Hall offers two bars. The Villagers bar, in one of the smaller rooms, is a cosy and intimate setting. On a Friday night the bar is open to locals. Drink prices are very modest. On the last Friday of each month, there is usually an “open mic” evening where villagers can enjoy local singers, guitarists, musicians and much more.
The Main Hall bar is situated in the large hall and is ideal for large parties. We have our own premises licence and can provide a cash bar for functions. Hirers may also bring in their own drinks, where a corkage charge may apply.
Multi Purpose Facilities
The combination of a multi-purpose building, well kept grounds, excellent free parking make SMH a very good and economical venue for so many events. As well as appealing to football teams there is scope for rounders, pétanque, and outdoor table tennis..
The spacious grounds have been successfully used for open air concert, fete, Summer show, classic car gatherings and much more. The Main Hall is ideal for dance groups, karaoke nights, Murder Mystery evenings, Burns Night reels and much more. Recently there have been well attended concerts showing local talent. It is anticipated there will be demand from local drama groups for productions and rehearsals .

We appreciate that no two parties or events are the same. Our friendly team will do their utmost to give you every assistance. Audio visual equipment can usually be arranged.
We are in contact with numerous local suppliers and can provide anything you need for your event, from marquees to teaspoons!
Furniture & Equipment
Sidlesham Memorial Hall offers a useful range of tables and chairs. Where necessary this can be augmented from local hire companies.
Users of the Main Hall for performances will benefit from LED multi colour spot lights, a spacious stage and an adjacent Green Room/dressing room
THE GROUNDS
Sidlesham Memorial Hall has spacious, well-maintained grounds with free parking.
There is ample scope for outdoor events such as car boot sales, fetes, car shows.
Our popular Snack Bar is able to provide delicious refreshments for such occasions, by arrangement.
