Based between Chichester and Selsey, our Main Hall is perfect for all genres of performing arts. Our renovated Main Hall has been re-roofed and has a brand new floor and stage.

Recent concerts have been a great success. Performers have commented on the excellent acoustics both for music and the spoken word.

The stage with its apron extension is of a generous size and compares favourably with other local venues.

Villagers with long memories will recall that historically this building was an important hub for amateur dramatic groups. We anticipate reviving this tradition of drama for adults and children as Sidlesham Community Arts and Theatre Society (SCATS) are now based here.

Sidlesham Memorial Hall now boasts the infrastructure to provide a sophisticated lighting system, using modern LED lighting controllable from a Front of House control desk.

As well as drama and concerts, the hall lends itself well to ceilidhs and reels, barn dances and general dancing. There is also an excellent electric organ in the Main Hall which experienced villagers are welcome to play by prior arrangement. Similar arrangements can be made to use a piano in the Downs View room.
